In order to implement the spirit of the law of the people's Republic of China on energy conservation, the decision of the State Council on strengthening energy conservation and the notice of the State Council on printing and distributing the comprehensive work plan for energy conservation and emission reduction, accelerate the popularization and application of energy-saving technologies with mature technology, wide application range and great energy-saving potential, and guide enterprises to adopt advanced and applicable new energy-saving technologies and technologies For new equipment, the national development and Reform Commission organized relevant units and experts to prepare the catalogue of national key energy-saving technology promotion (the first batch) (hereinafter referred to as the catalogue).

&The screening principles of key energy-saving technologies are as follows: first, advanced and applicable energy-saving technologies with wide application range and great energy-saving potential; second, obvious energy-saving effects are expected to be achieved through policy support; third, more than 80% of energy-saving technologies have been popularized and will not be listed in the catalogue in principle; fourth, production process technologies with obvious energy-saving effects are not included.

&The catalogue is a collection of more than 120 energy-saving technologies recommended by industry associations, local competent energy-saving departments and some academicians. After organizing experts to evaluate and solicit opinions from relevant parties for many times, 50 key energy-saving technologies are finally selected. At present, the penetration rate of these technologies is less than 1%, generally 30% - 40%. It is hoped that the popularity rate of key energy-saving technologies can be improved by publishing catalogue in the whole society
